FOUNTAIN & SMITH ARENAS

The Daniel Smith Arena was constructed in 1988 by the community and has been renovated since it’s original construction. Smith Arena boasts an Olympic size surface, measuring at 200’x100’ and houses 235 seats.

Fountain Arena is one of the most comfortable, community oriented arenas housing 850 stadium style seats! This NHL size arena measures 200’x85’.

Please note: St. Margaret’s Centre reserves the right to swap ice surfaces, if necessary, to accommodate all rentals and to utilize all available ice. No ice rental is guaranteed a specific surface, and if this is the case, clients will be notified of the change. Please check monitor located at the Front Desk when you arrive.

ICE RENTAL RATES

Our 2025-2026 hourly ice rates are as follows: Also note that surface is not guaranteed at time of booking and can/may be changed to accommodate all rentals. SMC reserves the right to switch ice surfaces on a need to basis.

Monday - Friday, 6:00 - 8:00am -

Youth Rate = $78.27/hour + HST

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM -- $138/hour + HST

Monday - Friday, 5:00 - 11:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM -- $207/hour +HST

Nightly, 11:00 PM until close -- $138 / hour + HST

1 hour rental constitutes 50 minutes of ice time

Please note that dressing rooms will be available 30 minutes before your rental, and are to be vacated within 15 minutes after rental.

Each rental is assigned 2 dressing rooms. SMC cannot accommodate more than 2 per rental. Please refer to the arena monitor in the rink lobby for dressing room assignments for your rental time.
